Stephen Harmston – Founder
Stephen Harmston is leading on product development and commercialisation. He created and successfully exited VentureOne Europe, a venture-backed database business. Formerly Founder and MD at Discover, an AI-driven entertainment platform and Head of data reporting at YouGov Plc, where he built a data reporting business to £multi-million turnover.
Dr Tillman Weyde – Founder
Tillman is leading on AI Aware’s technical approaches to AI content detection, building on his published multi-modal AI research. Dr Weyde is Reader in the Department of Computer Science at City University and heads the university Machine Intelligence and Media Informatics Research Group.
Martin Nyx Brain
Martin is advising on detection techniques. He is a Lecturer in Computer Science specialising in areas of automated reasoning and automated verification for safety and security.
James Furness
James is an experienced UX designer having developed AI-based health and entertainment apps. This is useful background for his current work in product design and generating user groups to generate benchmarks.
Norrie Hernon
Norrie is heading commercial outreach. He has 10+ years of software as a service and B2B data sales including at YouGov where he pioneered the sale of big ticket data solutions.
Kevin Allain
Kevin is building out enhancements to the user layer with React.js, Python and Docker. He is a PhD student at City University, specialising in data visualization.
Syed Huq
Syed is working on image and video multi-modal AI techniques, including the creation of a feature engine for AI Aware to extract multimodal video data (speech, text, and vision) for prediction and automation. He s currently studying for a PhD in data science at City University.
Jaine Green
Jaine heads up ‘red teaming’ – coming up with creative ways of creating content to try to beat our detection systems. This is so our platform can learn and improve, especially against adversarial content.
Chhalma Chhaya
Chhalma is a software engineer with expertise in Java development and cloud computing. She is working on distributed systems, scalable architecture, backend databases and the user experience.
Daryl Ramdin
Daryl is working on a range of AI detection techniques for AI Aware with a focus around improving our models for AI-generated image detection. He has an MSc in Data Science from City University.
Fei Xie
Fei is a researcher with advanced data science skills. This is why she can blend qualitative insights with data science for user-centered innovation.
